Ph.D. in Engineering with emphasis in Industrial Engineering from Universidad del Valle, where I also obtained my undergraduate degree in Statistics and a master’s degree in Applied Economics. Currently, I serve as an assistant professor at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana Cali, where I teach courses in areas such as statistics, econometrics, business analytics, machine learning for finance, data visualization, and quantitative finance.

I have had the opportunity to collaborate with various universities in the region, including Universidad del Valle, Universidad ICESI, Universidad San Buenaventura Cali, and Universidad del Tolima, providing training in my areas of expertise. My main research interests encompass energy markets, energy finance, business analytics, quantitative finance, applied econometrics, and applied statistics.

I have published in several specialized journals on topics related to energy and finance, contributing to the advancement of knowledge in these fields with my experience and research.
